Great location
Lovely clean & warm.Plenty of restaurants and bars all a stone’s throw away.Plenty to see & do with the main shopping area just a 15 min walk into the centre.
Perfect for our needs
We love the Old Black Horse, it is in a great central location with its own private car park. Staff are lovely and helpful and our room was clean and spacious with plenty of cupboards and mirrors and had very comfortable twin beds, an ensuite shower room with lovely towels and toiletries. Saturday night could possibly be noisy until 12.00pm as rooms are over the pub, but this didn't bother us as we were out all the time.
Great find
For a one night stay we booked two rooms.Peter gave a warm welcome and cups of coffee as we awaited the other couple to arrive. It was a cold night but we all slept well. Peter recommended a location for the morning‘s breakfast and a superb Italian Restaurant for our evening meal if we are returning to Oxford soon, we shall definitely be in contact with Peter.
